1. Prepare your child in advance by talking about what to expect.

2. Bring familiar toys and snacks as a distraction if you should need it.

3. Have a blanket or chair for them that acts as their own “personal space”.

4. Headphones that help muffle the noise.

5. Have a quiet place picked out just in case your child needs a break.
